0

ScaleHouse, a Bend creative and contemporary workshop producer, sent a call through Call For Entry.Org (CaFÉ) to artists and creative thinkers interested in leading paid workshops in Bend. The theme is UnBend Art.

Workshops are one or two-day, hands-on sessions to inspire and engage participants to think and work in new ways. Artists from all disciplines are encouraged to apply.

Artist exhibition may accompany the classes, though the opportunity for class exhibition and performance is optional. Selected workshop hosts are provided honorariums, lodging, and travel reimbursement for the opportunity to engage and inspire the arts in beautiful Bend, Oregon.

Workshop/event dates are tentatively set for February, June, September and November. Artists are invited to submit proposals for a single session. One of the four sessions is reserved for local artists.

“ScaleHouse workshops form the core program of our mission to bring new ideas and notions of creating thinking and doing,” said René Mitchell, ScaleHouse board president. “These workshops provide aspiring and working Bend creatives and those curious in creative thinking both the space and shared expertise of visiting artists to deepen their engagement in a variety of creative disciplines.”
