Local McDonald’s Owner Operator Mason Rodby welcomed the city of Redmond to its newest location at 625 NW Oak Tree Ln. in the north end. In honor of Veterans Day, the Grand Opening gave over 200 free meals to veterans, active-duty service members and first responders. “I am passionate about serving this community and I am honored to open my new store on the north side of town,” Rodby said. “Opening this new location has been a huge undertaking and I am so excited to share this moment with my family, friends, Crew, and community.

During the ribbon cutting ceremony, Rodby presented two $2,500 checks: one to the Central Oregon Veterans Ranch, an organization helping veterans find purpose and community, and second to Family Access Network (FAN) who provides children and families with basic needs and critical services. “I’m humbled I could recognize and support the Central Oregon Veterans Ranch and Family Access Network during today’s opening,” Rodby said. “These organizations are doing impactful work in Central Oregon. I care about their missions dearly.”

The ribbon cutting ceremony for this new location included special guests Senator Mike McLane and representatives from the Redmond Chamber of Commerce. From 11am-4pm, customers enjoyed special discounts, including $1 ice cream cones and $3 Happy Meals.

Construction for the new location, Rodby’s third location in Redmond, broke ground in July 2025. It features mobile order and pay parking stalls, separate pick-up shelves for delivery orders and an outdoor walk-up window for late night delivery orders.

This McDonald’s allows dine-in customers to order through a total of four kiosks with the help of a dedicated McDonald’s crew member. Dine-in service can also be accessed through the McDonald’s Mobile App which provides customers with special deals and loyalty rewards. The restaurant provides a welcoming hospitality experience to all customers dining in its spacious lobby, which seats up to 36 guests.
